A New Zealand Post Stamp Series
This series of Portraits was done for a New Zealand Post Stamp series comprising 22 VC recipients and celebrating their bravery. Eight of the recipients didn't have portraits done or had very poor black and white archive photographs of them that didn't fit the overall look of the Stamp series so I was asked to paint their portraits using available historical records and to try and paint them in such a way as to appear as if painted by different artists.
