Di had a great opportunity to design the New Zealand Native Trees series. Being a proud 5th generation New Zealander, and having worked with the Department of Conservation over a year ago, she knew exactly who to contact to find out what were the Trees that were voted New Zealand’s most popular.
Five trees were chosen to represent the issue. So along side her husband – Stephen Fuller – a highly respected, experienced and versatile Illustrator – they made a dynamic duo.

Detail was king with this botanical series, with the stamps been drawnand painted at a large size to make sure every detail of the trees anatomy was captured and rendered correctly. Much to the delight of collectors and Botanists. Stamps were launched on the 1st of February 2012.
